Main Reasons to Make a Will

It is all too easy to put off making a will. But if you die without making a will your assets may be distributed according to the law rather than your wishes. Many people think that if you die without making a will your assets go staright to your spouse or partner - this is NOT the case

Not making a will could mean that your spouse/partner receives less, or even that the money goes to family members who may not need it or who you did not intend to receive it.

There are two main reasons (from the "financial" perspective) why you should make a will:-

  1. It will mean that your assets and estate including money and property go to the the people who you intended to receive it.

  2. It is often possible to reduce Inheritance Tax by making a will.
The easiest way to make a will these days is to make a will online

In my opinion the best of the Online Will Writers is TenMinuteWill.co.uk

If you are looking to reduce Inheritance Tax you should consider a Discretionary Trust Will. You can make a Discretionary Trust Will Online here

I have never deleted any comments on this blog.

Can you tell me what they were and also check that you have the right Blog before you make accusations like this?

Also - please leave contact details rather than posting anonymously please

I posted anon to this blog reply as the blog is anonymous - as the "About me" is blank and no profile!!

I had posted to this page before as it was bookmarked.

I commented about tenminutewill's attitude when I asked a question about one of their input pages which was confusing and they said "It is only confusing to those easily confused - We suggest you go elsewhere".

You had said they had no record of email when you investigated this. It was a ticket on their system - I have screenshots of the pages of the website and the "ticket".

I said in previous reply - if they are willing to let me publicly show the contents - I will.

Actually you posted the other comments on http://www.online-wills.blogspot.com/ so you accusation is incorrect as they are STILL there.

I never delete posts (spam etc excepted). I fully accept that there are two sides to an argument.

I do think however it will be appropriate to delete these as I am sure you will agree.

OK I apologise - the blogs are similar, even if in different colours. Nevertheless my comments on the other blog still apply - tenminutewill were unprofessional when I asked a technical question and suggested I went elsewhere.
